According to several organization working with children, Child Protection is defined as measures and structures to prevent and respond to abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence affecting children. At Merciful Hearts Orphanage it is our duty to make sure that all the children whether with parents of without parents are safe, Child protection transforms lives. We believe that all children have a fundamental right to be safe. We at Merciful Hearts Orphanage want to make sure children are safe, to call out violence when it occurs, Protecting kids is everyone’s responsibility.
Meeting the needs of children and making sure they are safe is a shared responsibility between individuals, well wishers, friends , the community and the government. It takes a village to raise a child” is a proverb that means that an entire community of people must provide for and interact positively with children for those children to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment.
